The Benenati Law Firm is proud to announce the winner of the Benenati Law Firm Future Leaders Scholarship. With over 200 applicants, it became difficult to choose from so many qualified individuals. After much deliberation, we are pleased to announce the winner of the 1st Annual $2,000 Benenati Law Firm Future Leaders Scholarship, Miss Alexis Garcia.
“I established this scholarship to provide financial assistance to students who have excelled in academics and made a significant impact in their community, Alexis is a very deserving recipient, not only for her academic and civic accomplishments but for her strength and determination in overcoming difficult circumstances in her youth.” said attorney Walter Benenati.
Miss Garcia is currently attending the University of South Florida, and we are proud to offer this scholarship to her. She distinguished herself in her high school career with an impressive 3.6 GPA. Her list of awards and honors is also very admirable. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the president of the Lakewood High School Newspaper the Quill and Scroll, a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), a member of the National Spanish Honors Society, all as a dual enrollee between High School and her Community College.
